April 2001-Aug. 2001 Deputy with Roane County Sheriffs Office 

Aug2001 – May 2005 Corporal with McMinn County Sherrifs Office

September 2003 certified with 10th judicial Methamphetamine task force

March 2004 S.W.A.T. school

2009- 2010 Etowah Police Department

2010-2012 McMinn sheriffs’ office K-9 handler certified

2014-2016 Etowah Police Department  Shift supervisor

2020-present Etowah Police Department  shift supervisor certified K-9 Handler

K9 Rona



K9 Rona is a Belgian Malinois (pronounced MAL-in-wah), she was born on October 31, 2017. Officer Robinson bought Rona in July of 2020. They then began training for 4 months on narcotic detection. Officer Robinson and K9 Rona were both certified on November 11, 2020. Since then, seized several large amounts of different narcotics along with cash and guns have been taken off the street.

In K9 Rona's spare time she like to chill with her family and be loved on. When on duty she loves to ride around the City of Etowah and meet the citizens and loves visiting Etowah City School to play with the children and be fed treats from the teachers. 

In December of 2020 K9 Rona was awarded a stab and bullet proof vest from Vested Interest in K9s Inc. For more information about Vested Interest in K9s you can visit https://www.vik9s.org/.
